   Over all straight stick itself is decent and helps with grip placement and gauging your swing speed. What turned me off to the whole experience it took over a month to get the item shipped to me. It wouldn’t have received it if I did not talk to Amazon’s costumer service team multiple times. Just for that it’s not worth the hassle.

   If you go to the straight stick website it is 70 dollars cheaper and you get free training videos. With that said it forces you to swing from the ground up. Great training tool.

   I don’t want to leave a disparaging review because I can see how this training aid may help golfers, but it didn’t do for me what I was hoping it would.One example: was warming up before a round in Atlanta & hit a few straight stick shots before & I sprayed some right that were complete hosel rockets & this training aid “ clicked “ every time! From the videos I watched that is NOT supposed to happen. It’s about face control and swing path, etc., to make that “ click “ happen.I returned the product & will continue to work on my swing with the other training aids I have. I guess there’s a swing training aid out there for everyone & unfortunately this one just didn’t work for me.

   I saw the straight stick in an email from a golf publication and thought I’d give it a try. I’m happy I did! It helped me a ton with my early release. Now I’m compressing the ball and gained distance on all of the clubs in my bag! Enjoy guys!

   Very surprised how well this product works! I found that if I swung with the intention of hearing the metallic click after hitting the ball, my ball indeed go straight every time. The grip trainer also helps ensure my grip and club face are also correct. The only people who will not like this product are those that hate to practice. If you are curving the ball and not making good contact, you should definitely consider this product or go and pay for expensive golf lessons. Your choice.

   The magnet sticks to the top on the back swing and won’t release. Takes quite a bit of effort to pull the slider back down. The slider also clicks at 3/4 the back swing. Good concept idea but doesn’t work.
